There are many situations that we face in life that can bring about stress. Stress can be brought about by both negative and positive situations in our lives, examples of negative conditions that would lead to concern are: anxiety and panic attacks, depression, grief, addiction, insomnia, bereavement, physical ill health to name but a few. When we think about positive steps in our lives it’s sometimes easy to forget the stress that can be borne out of these occasions, and although they ultimately bring joy and happiness they can still have unwanted effects upon us along the way.
Examples of positive situations that could lead to significant stress would include marriage, moving house, job promotion, job changes, birth, and celebrations and so on.
So what is the purpose of Chakra balancing? Quite simply Chakra balancing brings balance to the body’s energy system and in turn brings balance to one’s mind and body. You may have heard of the term ‘Aura’, this is an energy field that surrounds all human beings. Not everyone will see the colours in the aura, some will see a faint white outline, some are lucky enough to see all the colours and as mentioned some people will see nothing. Ultimately this does not really matter, what does is to be aware that the aura does exist and it produces colour that represents our own state of health and the mood we are in.
The colour and energy associated with the aura is produced by the chakras. We have seven main chakra energy centres in our aura, these are like wheels spinning in harmony when we are happy and in good health they appear bright and strong. Conversely when we are in bad health or are feeling low and depressed the chakras appear dull and spin out of balance. Balancing our chakras regularly brings our energy back into balance, keeps us healthy and helps us to feel good physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
